We are excited to share that the Women of Worth Brunch is BACK! This meaningful celebration is created especially for the 100+ ladies currently staying at KGM. We'd like you to hear from a guest who was at last year’s Women of Worth Brunch to grasp the impact this event has:

‍“On the day of the WOW Brunch, before entering the door, you felt the love pouring out. The staff and volunteers were smiling and elated to serve the guests. In the chapel, the gorgeous, sparkling decorations with neon accents made it feel like I was at a five-star hotel event! I felt like royalty and truly “a woman of worth.” It was an honor to hear words of encouragement from KGM CEO Pastor L. Michael Brown. The cuisine was served in elegant style and was delicious, it was prepared with love. Playing bingo was a blast and I was excited to win a gift card from Red Robin! The climax of the event was an inspiring message from Pastor Candace of Radiant Church. She crowned us with the truth of a woman’s worth; to be powerful and strong, the way GOD created us to be.For several days the afterglow of the event lingered in the mission and stayed with me. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, served and helped in any way to contribute to the WOW Brunch! It was more than a successful event; it was an authentic expression of Christ’s love.”


The eloquence of her words is humbling and paints a picture of how the small things can become big things when you are in crisis. Last year, the ladies received new shoes, a colorful t-shirt, and a manicure, which we will do again. The encouragement they felt in forgetting for a couple of hours the stress of being homeless was a wonderful boost to their self-esteem.
