Life Management Counselor (Shirley Wiersma)   Tom Whiting (Counselor)

Discipleship Program members receive professional counseling to assist them in making life changes in order to overcome issues of substance abuse, negative self-worth, childhood abuse, etc., through Christ’s power not their own. The goal is to help them heal from the past, learn effective coping skills, relate with others in positive ways, take personal responsibility and handle crises. Individual, marriage/family, and groups counseling are available to them. Counseling is available to shelter clients through counseling interns.
