Letter from Pastor Brown
Many of us would have a hard time identifying with the day-to-day challenges of the homeless, addicted, and hurting in our community. Oftentimes we don’t realize that once the need for food has been satisfied with a hot meal, then it’s time to worry about where you will spend the night, or worse, what you will feed your children and where they will sleep. Until those questions are answered, nothing else matters.
Because of your compassionate support, we’ve been meeting those needs for over 75 years.
But after the critical needs of food and shelter are met, then the journey really begins. The long-term discipleship programs you support are helping men and women change the behaviors that lead to homelessness. This website will give you an overview of the many programs the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission has that help achieve our vision of Changing Lives through the power of Christ.
